In 2026 and beyond, Barrier Group is entering an exciting new phase of growth.
After acquiring our strategic quayside industrial facility at Haverton Hill in Billingham, Teesside, in 2023, specialising in structural fabrication and multi-discipline outfitting for modular construction, Barrier became well placed to support the manufacture and onward transportation of large modular structures for both onshore and offshore energy sector.
We are working on programs such as TenneT 2GW, which represents a major investment in Europe’s offshore energy infrastructure, and in 2024, we were awarded the contract to complete Modular Living Quarters for the LanWin 2, BalWin 3 and LanWin 4 offshore wind projects for Dragados Offshore. Only recently, in July 2026, we marked the beginning of construction on the TenneT 2GW program with a steel cutting ceremony at Haverton Hill.
We are a multi-disciplined turnkey engineering, design and build contractor with a strong pipeline of major projects across the UK and internationally, and we are constantly growing at Barrier.
